When it released last year for PlayStation Vita, Assassin’s Creed: Liberation brought a great new side story to the series, one that introduced the first female assassin, the deadly Aveline. Today, Ubisoft announced that it will bring this adventure to new platforms for players to enjoy, starting early next year.
Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD is currently in the works over at Ubisoft Sofia, and will feature completely remodeled visuals that take advantage of game consoles and PC, along with tweaked missions based on player feedback. The game will release early next year for PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade and PC.
You can watch a trailer for it below.
Meanwhile, mobile gamers will also be able to get in on the action with a new stand-alone game called Pirates. In it, they can get right into treasure hunting and naval battles with a new character, Alonzo Batilla, as he faces off against Templars while brushing elbows with famous pirates like Blackbeard and Hornigold.
Pirates will launch this fall for mobile devices, and you can watch the debut trailer below.
