Naval combat is one of the biggest gameplay aspects of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. Whether you need loot to upgrade the Jackdaw, you’re trying to expand your territory, or you just want to level a few AI ships, you’re going to be partaking in a lot of naval combat. It’s not uncommon to find multiple ships in close proximity, meaning you’ll have to deal with all of those ships at once, even if you only want the cargo from a single ship. So let’s cover a few basic tips on how best to deal with engaging multiple ships at once.
First and foremost, choose one target and focus on that ship as much as possible. Depending on the progression of the battle, you may have to turn your attention away from your main target from time to time, but it’s key to focus on one ship at a time so you can lower the number of enemy ships as quickly as possible.
