Aquaman and Shazam Join Injustice: Gods Among Us

Two new heroes join the fighting game roster.

Interactive that the king of the sea is the latest addition to Netherrealm Studios’ forthcoming brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us.  No, he isn’t going to smack you with a fish, but he will use a trident to lay the smack down on you, then call upon a shark to feast on you as part of his super move – even if it’s flying in mid-air.  Hey, when Aquaman tells you to do something, you do it.  Water be damned.

In addition, Shazam has also been confirmed for the game, though video footage of him hasn’t been shown just yet.  We should see more of him in the weeks ahead.

Injustice: Gods Among Us ships for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U on April 16th.
