It seems Activision is bringing every franchise it can think of to the Wii U. Call of Duty: Black Ops II is set to be a launch title for the system, and Transformers Prime, 007 Legends and Skylanders Giants aren’t far behind. What’s next?
How about a little bit of Spider-Man? At the New York Comic-Con event this weekend, the company announced that it’s bringing the webslinger, who first returned to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 earlier this summer, to the Wii U. The Amazing Spider-Man will feature all the action of the original game, as well as additional downloadable content right there on the disc.
These include the Lizard Rampage pack, the Oscorp Search and Rescue Pack, the Rhino Challenge pack, and, of course, the Stan Lee Adventure Pack, featuring the comic book maestro as the hero he deserves to be. No word on any exclusive Wii U content…but it’d be sweet.
Look for The Amazing Spider-Man on the console early next year.
