Spicy Horse Games announced that Akaneiro: Demon Hunters has entered open beta. The MMO is from the same team that created Alice: Madness Returns, BigHead BASH and American McGee’s Grim.
The theme for Akaneiro: Demon Hunters is an odd mixture of the Little Red Riding Hood story with Japanese folklore and myth. The game has a unique dark fantasy style, focusing on hunting legendary monsters in Edo-era Japan.
The open beta will feature additions like advanced character training, weapon improvements, and the new area Shivering Pines, featuring a brand new environment style and a fearsome tribe of imps wielding frost magic.
