After Recent Delays, Killing Floor 3 Finally Gets Its Official Global Launch Date

Killing Floor 3’s original launch was set for July 24, but was recently delayed to work on implementing the feedback they got from its closed beta access. Now, Tripwire Interactive announces July 24 as Killing Floor 3’s official global launch date.

Killing Floor 3 Launches Globally on July 24 for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox

The third iteration of the legendary Killing Floor franchise launches worldwide on July 24 for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S systems.

The development team has been focused on using the additional time to address all the negative feedback from its most recent closed beta access. The fans’ anticipation for Killing Floor 3 is at an all-time high, and they want to make sure that everything is perfect.

The team has shared progress updates, including design, artwork, UI changes, and animations, to demonstrate transparency.

“Since delaying the launch of Killing Floor 3, we’ve dedicated the additional development time to responding to the community’s feedback, ensuring the next chapter in the much-loved cult action/horror franchise lives up to our shared vision,” said Bryan Wynia, Creative Director at Tripwire Interactive. 

“The support from our fans has been incredible, and with the new July 24th release date in sight, we’re thrilled to bring that vision to players not just at launch, but through the continued support of new features and content that is a hallmark of our studio.

It is safe to say that the development team is actively listening to the players’ feedback, which is a great sign going forward, especially after their rocky beta.

The game performance was abysmal as they need to get the game to a more optimized state. The systems needed some work, and several bugs and glitches needed to be fixed. Hopefully, the delay will be fruitful and will fix everything before launch.

The Killing Floor franchise is definitely one of the best FPS zombie shooter games out there, and the developers want to keep it that way with their third installment.
