Today, Activision finally made some long-anticipated multiplayer changes to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 official – and brought along a specialist to help out.
In a hilarious new promo video, you’ll see bits and pieces of the four new maps being introduced in the game, as well as the ability to play as a zombie for the first time. But its primary focus is on the Replacer, a specialist who’s willing to jump into the stuff you’d normally have to put up with when you aren’t playing games – such as visiting your mother or completing your chores.
It sounds cheesy, but it’s made wonderful, as the Replacer is played by actor Peter Stormare, of such films as Constantine and the recently released The Last Stand. He definitely gets the job done, especially when it comes to grinding down a mailbox to nothing. It was in the way anyway.
Watch the video below for some laughs, and get ready for the Revolution map pack when it hits Xbox 360 on January 29th for $14.99. No word yet on PS3 or PC releases, but those will likely come in March.
