A Mistfall Hunter Player Finally Wins the Alienware Gaming Desktop For the Gylden Rush Event
That's one way to upgrade your gaming setup.
During Mistfall Hunter’s launch, they held an in-game event called Gylden Rush where players farm some rare Ciphers while hunting, extract them, and have them deciphered at camp. Each decipher has a chance of getting in-game loot such as expensive legendary or even holy items, but the grand prizes include a complete Alienware Gaming Desktop boasting an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, 64GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080.
In today’s market, that gaming setup is worth around $3,899.99, also dependent on your location and availability. And, if there are any forecasts out there, everyone knows that the number is just going up in price. Now, one lucky winner finally won the grand prize two weeks after the launch.
Mistfall Hunter’s Gylden Rush Event Winner Announced
The team has announced the grand prize winner, REDSNAKE, who will receive a gaming desktop equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, 64GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080. The winner plays on the international servers and will receive an in-game mail to claim the prize.
Now that the grand prize is gone, players can still get their ciphers to get in-game loot until the event ends. The Golden Cipher event lasts until August 20, so players can still capitalize on getting more in-game currency or items from deciphers.
I mean, everyone just gets 450 Gyldenblod most of the time, but make sure you choose the right NPC when deciphering these Golden Ciphers. Each unique Golden Cipher has clues or keywords and a specific NPC who understands its meaning, can decipher it, and give you some bonus loot apart from the initial reward.
That’s still a big bonus whenever you get lucky, especially with how hard it is to sustain your Gyldenblod when running expensive loadouts in Chaos or Cataclysm hunts.
Hopefully, they host more of these fun events in the future to keep engagement and activity in the game going.
