Fortnite’s annual Halloween celebration is right around the corner and Epic Games is once again going all-out in the latest Fortnitemares event.
A host of recognisable faces are set to make an appearance in Fortnite, including Five Nights at Freddy’s, Freddy Krueger, and Beetlejuice, alongside collab items from the likes of The Purge and Obsession.

When Does Fortnitemares Begin in Fortnite?
Fortnitemares kicks off on Thursday, October 1 in Fortnite, coming as the latest update in Epic Games’ standard two-week cycle, although a precise time for the servers returning has not been shared.
However, Epic Games’ long-running procedure with bi-weekly updates means a general timeframe can be worked out from previous updates, and Fortnite’s servers are expected to go live at around 6 AM ET/11 AM BST.
Of course, this is subject to change, particularly if any issues arise during deployment of the patch, and given Fortnitemares is a major event, it could take longer than a standard update, but those timings give you an idea of when to start looking.

When Will Fortnitemares End in Fortnite?
Fortnitemares is expected to remain in Fortnite until the end of Chapter 7, Season 4, which is expected to last until early November, with the 1st being the touted date for the seasonal transition.
That means players will have a full month to enjoy the Fortnitemares content, and, with another update expected halfway through the event, there could be even more collabs and content joining the fray.
The full month is essentially a mini-season, providing new bosses, NPCs, weapons, POIs, and more, and it will be followed by an actual mini-season in November, widely reported to be centered on a major One Piece collab.
