Deusoldort Desert #1: Illustrious Sword
Below, you’ll see Deusoldort Desert’s map:
Start from Deusoldort Desert’s northwestern savepoint. You’ll spot a canyon with a waterfall.
You’ll need to climb on those rocks (use Tailwind).
Reach the top and you’ll find the chest.
Reward: Illustrious Sword (1H sword) – 51 damage; “Rising Spirit” perk (+5% STR, VIT, DEX, and AGI).
Deusoldort Desert #2: Savage Sandstorm
Fast travel to the Sandy Campgrounds savepoint. Look to the west and you’ll spot a ravine with a gnarled tree and a warrior statue down below. The chest is actually on a rock formation that’s across the gap.
Anyway, jump down the ravine and follow it as it winds to your right.
The pathway will circle around to the left and to the right once more, eventually taking you to Oddrock Peak.
Keep forging ahead and you’ll eventually be at a spot overlooking the chest.
Reward: Savage Sandstorm (katana) – +66 damage; +5 critical; “One with the Sword” perk (+15% movement speed).
Note: Before jumping down to open the golden treasure chest, go ahead and check out the grey treasure chest first. It’s guarded by spider enemies and inside is the Thorn Incantation attachment/mod (+10% attack; +25% critical power).
Deusoldort Desert #3: Purgatorial Greatsword
The last golden treasure chest in Deusoldort Desert can be found near the Fubarite Firestream savepoint. There’s a giant Clamp nearby, but we’ll ignore that.
Instead, head the opposite direction.
Run around the rock formation until you reach a canyon opening. The golden treasure chest is above us, but how do we get there?
Well, look to your right and you’ll find a sandy slope that heads up top.
Follow the path and you’ll eventually reach the top of the canyon where the chest is.
Reward: Purgatorial Greatsword (2H sword) – +87 damage; +14 Sacred Arts damage; “Unbreakable Body” perk (+1 DEF level and -20% damage reduction).
