Nemean Beast weakness in Persona 3 Reload

The Nemean Beast is one of the first representations of how challenging Monad Door bosses can be in Persona 3 Reload. It’s especially difficult if you are unsure of its weaknesses and resistances. Just know that the Nemean Beast is weak against Wind, so make sure you have Yukari in your party (whose Persona utilizes Wind attacks).

Nemean Beast resistance in Persona 3 Reload

While knowing the Nemean Beast’s weakness is essential, it’s also crucial to understand what it’s resistant to. The Nemean Beast is resistant to Electricity and Light attacks in Persona 3 Reload.

This means that if you attack with these two types, it will do zero damage and waste an entire turn. Akihiko uses Electricity, while Ken uses Light, so it may be wise to leave these two characters out of your party when going up against the Nemean Beast.

How to beat the Nemean Beast in Persona 3 Reload

Wind isn’t the only way to damage the Nemean beast in Persona 3 Reload, so you have other options if the time comes. To summarize, we have compiled all the important stats you need to know about this challenging boss below.

  • Slash: Normal
  • Strike: Normal
  • Pierce: Normal
  • Fire: Normal
  • Ice: Normal
  • Dark: Normal
  • Electricity: Resist
  • Light: Resist
  • Wind: Weak

In other words, focus on using Wind attacks as a primary way to deal damage, which will also down the Nemean Beast and allow you to execute an all-out attack. If it’s a character’s turn that doesn’t have Wind as an option, make sure to select any other attack type that is considered “normal.” Normal attacks will still deal a good amount of damage but just won’t down the boss.

Additionally, make sure you have one healer in the party and healing items to increase your chances of survival. I recommend including Yukari, who can heal the entire party with the Diarama skill, reducing the amount of SP you need to use. She also, of course, can focus on exposing the Nemean Beast’s weakness with Wind.
