How to Get The Possum Trait in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ
All the details on the Possum Trait in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ, including how to get it and the boost it provides.
Modern Warfare 4 DMZ offers you an abundance of options when choosing a Trait in the Call of Duty mode, but few, if any, have caused as much of a stir as the Possum Trait.
The Possum Trait in DMZ requires a significant amount of legwork to unlock in DMZ, particularly if you fail to save an Operator from MIA status and have to start again, but it’s well worth the effort.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Possum Trait in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ.
How to Get The Possum Trait in MW4 DMZ

The Possum Trait in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ is unlocked in the Warfighter Trait Tree, and is one of the two final unlocks that can be selected from the tree.
You must progress through the tree in order, which means a total of nine Trait Points must be spent in the Warfighter Tree to unlock Possum, but you don’t have to solely focus your attention on the Warfighter Tree.
A maximum of 18 Trait Points are available before you Prestige an Operator in Modern Warfare 4, so you can put some points into other areas and mix-and-match, but you will have to advance the Warfighter Tree all the way to unlock Possum.
Taking the Possum Trait means that you will be locked out of the Adaptive Restock Trait, which results in enemy hostiles dropping an additional item, and as there is no respec option for Traits, make sure to be certain on the choice you make.
What Does The Possum Trait Do in MW4 DMZ?
The Possum Trait in DMZ is one of the most powerful and controversial Traits in the game, as it allows you to revive into Last Stand from death, restoring health to maximum, once per match.
This gives you an additional chance, once eliminated, to come back from the brink, continuing your progress or exacting revenge on whoever took you out.
It’s particularly powerful when you’re in a squad with players who also have the Possum Trait, as it gives your squad multiple opportunities to come back from the brink, which can make a big difference to your progress.
