DMZ in Modern Warfare 4 has plenty to sink your teeth into, and one of the best ways to secure high-tier loot in the Call of Duty mode is to hunt down Lieutenants.

Lieutenants in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ mostly have a fixed location, though some are roaming around the map, and they can be difficult to defeat. Therefore, being able to mark their location with a Lieutenant Tower makes things much easier.

For all the details on where to find Lieutenant Towers in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ and how to activate them, we’ve got you covered.

There are five Lieutenant Towers in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ, scattered across the map in both North and South Korea, each of which can be activated by multiple teams of Operators.

The locations are fixed, so you won’t need to hunt around in every match, and can instead head to the nearest objective. While in game, you can locate these towers by the icons that show a radio tower with a skull icon on top.

There is no guarantee which Lieutenant location will be pinged by the tower, however, so you may find it locates a Lieutenant hidden away in an area with an extremely high threat level, which makes the hunt even more challenging.

How to Climb & Activate Lieutenant Towers in MW4 DMZ

Activating a Lieutenant Tower in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ is easy, though you should always be careful as you will be vulnerable to attack while climbing, and the locations of the towers are hot spots for enemy teams given their significance.

At the bottom of any Lieutenant Tower, find the ladder and climb it, then repeat the process when you reach the summit of the first ladder to initiate climbing the second.

Once at the top of the second ladder, look around for a computer-like device that can be interacted with, and hold the interact button to activate.

When completed, the approximate location of a random Lieutant will be revealed on the map, with a more precise location shown when you get within site of the enemy.
