No, WARDOGS is not available on PlayStation 5 or XBOX Series X|S at its early access launch on September 10.

Instead, WARDOGS is releasing as a PC exclusive, with no other platforms able to access the title, which may come as a disappointment to fans.

Sony’s early access restrictions for PlayStation 5 are tighter than other platforms, which explains that absence, and the lack of the title on XBOX also has a similarly easy explanation, as the developers are working hard on perfecting the early access release on PC.

Will WARDOGS Be Released on Console?

Although WARDOGS isn’t immediately available on consoles like PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S, a future console launch has been confirmed.

Ahead of the early access launch on PC, developer BULKHEAD revealed on social media that a console launch for the title will arrive in 2028.

This follows on from comments back in March, during a Q&A on YouTube, where the developers directly answered the prospect of a console launch, confirming their plans.

“We absolutely want to come to XBOX and PlayStation. Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about you guys. We’re coming to console. That’s our plan, we just don’t know when.”
