How to Prestige Operators in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ

A new Call of Duty entry has arrived with Modern Warfare 4, which brings back DMZ as a major game mode, and there’s a separate Prestige system from the main account level.

DMZ is a PvPvE Extraction Shooter, offering a risk vs reward strategy, and the biggest risks of all surround your Operators, as being eliminated can permanently erase your progress if you don’t restore them from an MIA state.

All Operator Prestige Requirements in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ

The main requirement for Prestige in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ is to have an Operator with the maximum of 18 Trait Points, which are earned through DMZ XP and are separate from your account progression.

This progression advances your Dog Tags from Steel I to Onyx III, but it’s a tricky path, as failing to save an Operator who is MIA will fully erase their progress and require you to start from scratch.

What Rewards Does Operator Prestige Provide?

The main reward for opting to Prestige an Operator in Modern Warfare 4 is earning a Permanent Prestige Trait, which will always be active for your Operator, even if they are killed or dismissed.

Each Prestige awards a random Permanent Prestige Trait, and the process can be repeated as many times as you want. However, you can only have a maximum of three Permanent Prestige Traits active at once.

The requirements for Prestige increase every time, raising the rarity of gear required from Rare to Epic, then to Legendary, while the required cash increases to a whopping half a million.
