A new addition to Ultimate Team for FC 27, Holographic cards are heavily coveted by the community due to their unique look and the huge boosts they provide to your FUT Gallery Level.

What Are Holographic Cards in EA FC 27?
Holographic cards in EA FC 27 Ultimate Team are ultra-rare versions of special cards, providing a cosmetic change to the appearance of the card.
Any special item, like Team of the Week, Promo Cards, and Icons have a chance of being generated as a Holographic version, although the specific odds of this happening have not been shared directly by EA Sports.
Holographic cards are identical stat-wise to their standard versions, with in-game attributes, PlayStyles, and everything else connected to the card’s functionality the same. Instead, the differences are cosmetic.
There are two types of Holographic cards available to earn in FC 27, detailed below:
- Regular Holographic: Animated foil effect with a different shine to a standard promo card.
- Pristine Holographic: Replace standard text with the player’s name in a stylized font, alongside the foil effect.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that Pristine Holographic cards do not feature a player’s true autograph and signature style. Instead, it’s a stylized look that mimics a signature, but is entirely generated by EA Sports.
How to Get Holographic Cards in EA FC 27
Like most things in Ultimate Team, obtaining Holographic cards in EA FC 27 comes down to luck, and but there are some guaranteed ways to earn Holographic cards.
At the time of writing, the guaranteed method to obtain Holographic cards comes via the FUT Gallery and rewards for reaching certain Gallery Level milestones.
Reaching Gallery Level 10 provides a Player Pick for a Holographic Base Hero, with a similar Player Pick for an Icon at Level 15, an 88+ Hero at Level 20, and a 92+ Icon at Level 25.
As the lifespan of FC 27 develops, additional methods for obtaining Holographic players through Objectives, SBCs, and other rewards may emerge, though there is currently no official news on this front.
