Whether you decide to accompany Gregor or make your own way, as soon as you reach the capital city of Venworth, the game starts to open up. When I first got here and saw the beheaded statue of a dragon spurting out water, I knew I was gonna like it here. However, it very much feels like you’re thrown in the deep end and you have to fend for yourself. You can talk to NPCs around the town, and some with an exclamation mark will have a quest for you.

I found an elven warrior who wanted to compare his skills to those of humans and see a bow made by a man. If you return without said item, you’ll get the notification “You do not possess the items required for delivery.” If you want to fix the notification, you must bring them the required item. In this case, You can go over to the armory and buy a Hunter’s Bow.

Keep in mind that certain quests may not give you this notification, but that doesn’t mean you have the correct item. I can bring any kind of bow to the elf, but if it isn’t made by a human, then we won’t take it.

Return to the NPC and give them the item, and you’ll be able to complete the quest and get rid of the nasty notification. Now you’re free to enjoy the sprawling open world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 and check out some of its biggest additions to the game.
