Let’s discuss the first part of the Starshadow Lamp and Asterism Shard star puzzles in Genshin Impact.

Central Chamber Puzzle

With that newfound shard, go back to Mona’s astral domain. Look for the Starshadow Lamp with the image seen below and slot those Asterism Shards accordingly:

Room Puzzle

This Star Guide puzzle in Genshin Impact is a bit confusing at first. Initially, you’ll want to interact with the star at the back. It will then fly up through a crack in the rooftop, revealing the constellations in the night sky. Check the positioning of the pedestals and rotate/hit them to match the constellation.

Mirage Maze

Open the chest for another shard and follow the floating star into the central pool. After running around with the star, it’ll float off into the distance.

You’ll then see lines showing that you’re inside a maze, which means there are invisible walls that will prevent you from passing through. If you walked up further, simply walk to the right, then forward and left (as seen in the image below). Soon, the screen will transition and you’ll be able to pass.

Overworld

Back in the overworld, a scrying pool will show a location behind a cavern. Go to this marked area and pick up the object (it’s a new shard).

All right, let’s move on to the next part of our guide.
