The first promo of EA FC 27 is one that players will want to keep close tabs on throughout the course of the season, as upgrades are available for in-game performances.

When Are Players Eligible For Upgrades?

There is no set deadline for the upgrade path of players included in the Destined For Glory promo; instead, featured players can earn upgrades based on their performances across the entire football season.

That means that you don’t have to hope your player hits a purple patch in the next few weeks, and their contributions over the course of the season are taken into consideration, though there are some caveats.

Only performances in the player’s domestic league will be considered, so impressive displays in the Champions League and FA Cup, for example, won’t go towards a potential upgrade.

With the campaign running from the start of the promo through to the end of the football season in May, however, there’s more than enough time.

Destined For Glory Midfielders & Attackers Upgrade Path

Midfielders and attackers in the Destined For Glory promo will earn upgrades for achieving the required number of combined goals and assists, with the potential to hit an overall upgrade of +2.

Each goal and assist contributed in the player’s domestic league tallies together, with initial bonuses for hitting three and six combined, following by longer-term targets of 10 and 20.

Defensive players in the Destined For Glory Promo earn upgrades through securing clean sheets in their domestic league, with the required tallies being lower than their attacking counterparts.

This is due to the fact that defensive players can only earn one progression per game, with just a single clean sheet available, while attacking players can secure multiple goals and assists in the same match.
