Rage 2 is definitely about breaking convention and bringing the mayhem. Even their big reveal turned into a giant Andrew W.K concert during E3 last year. It’s because of that unique marketing strategy that it shouldn’t be surprising to find that the studio is looking away to give away a Dreamcast – a very dated but beloved console – with a hidden PC inside.

Now, here’s the thing though. Don’t be fishing out those favorite Dreamcast titles. It’s technically just a shell housing the PC, not a functional Dreamcast in itself. The PC itself is customizable with an HDMI input and is estimated to retail at about $590. It probably won’t be the most powerful PC on the market, but decent with proof of running Rage 2. That, and it just looks really freaking cool.
Giants, “smug cliffs,” and so much more await when Rage 2 releases on May 14th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC players.
For more about the game before its arrival next month:
“An asteroid has annihilated 80% of the earth’s population, and humanity’s numbers are dwindling. Ruthless and bloodthirsty gangs roam the open roads and the tyrannical Authority seek to rule with an iron fist,” Bethesda said about Rage 2. “As Walker, the last Ranger of the wasteland and a threat to their power, you have been robbed of your home and left for dead. Now you’ll have to rage for justice and freedom. With ludicrous vehicle combat, super-powered first-person mayhem, and an open world full of emergent madness, you will tear across an unforgiving wasteland battling sadistic gangs to find the tools and tech needed to crush the oppressive rule of The Authority once and for all.”
