To perform a Mercy in MK11, win the final round and instead of using a Fatality, stand about a half screen length away, hold L2 (Left Trigger), and tap Down four times. We’re not sure if Mortal Kombat 11 Mercies are a way for NetherRealm to troll MK fans, or if by coincidence it just happens to look like you’re teabagging. Either way, once you perform the Mercy, the opponent will be revived with approximately 20 percent health. If you still end up winning the round, you’ll be able to perform a Fatality, but you won’t be able to perform a second Mercy.

In Mortal Kombat 3, when Mercies were first introduced, you used them as a prerequisite for performing an Animality. There’s been no sign of Animalities in Mortal Kombat 11, but be sure to keep an eye on Prima Games for information on how to perform Animalities if a way is discovered.
