You’ll find it in the Lost Wood after acquiring all three pendants. Just walk up and yank it from the altar.

How do I upgrade the Master Sword?

Turns out, you can upgrade the Master Sword twice.

To obtain the Level 2 Master Sword, locate two pieces of Master Ore and take them to the Blacksmith of Hyrule. Now it will cause double damage.

As for the Level 3 Master Sword, bring the final two pieces of Master Ore to the Blacksmith of Lorule. Now you can deal twice the damage of the Level 2 blade.
