The final chapter of Batman: The Telltale Series, Episode 1: Realm of Shadows – Chapter 6 – Family Secrets, acts as the actual ending of Batman: Episode 1: Realm of Shadows. It basically showcases all your decisions based on the entire episode. Forewarning: This article contains some spoilers. Read at your own risk!
Bruce is outragedas he arrives at the Bat Cave, delivering some not-so-subtle words with Alfred about covering up his secrets. It appears the Wayne family had a tie-in the mob, and the dirt unfolds over the news.
Besides that, enjoy the ending. You can review the results of other player’s decisions by percentage (similar to the Walking Dead). Be sure to check the preview for the upcoming Batman: Episode 2 – Children of Arkham.
With that in mind, we’re sharing the major choices below that seem to contribute to the ending. For our experience, you’ll have small variations to the ending depending on what you decide, but not by much. Most outcomes are revealed and released by the Gotham News. It should be noted that some of the character reactions have little effect – at least to this episode – but presumably play a factor in the upcoming Batman: Episode 2 – Children of Arkham.
Chapter 2: The One That Got Away
The choices in this chapter rely mostly on Carmine Falcone and how you treat him.
- Shake Carmine’s hand, or refuse.
- Invite Harvey in, or talk to Falcone alone.
Chapter 4: World’s Greatest Detective
This chapter’s most significance to the climax is Vicki Vale, and whether you choose to give her a quote to the public or not. If you agree with her, you’ll hear Bruce’s quote at the end of the game on the radio.
Chapter 5: Room with a View
- Choose to give the data to either Gordon or Vale.
- Have Falcone arrested or brutalized.
