New Resident Evil 2 Mod Lets You Play As The Witcher 3’s Ciri

Have Ciri, will travel. Or kill zombies. You know, same difference.

From Mr. X in a ‘hey-gurl-hey’ bikini to replacing him altogether with an enemy from another game, the list of impressive mods for Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 remake continues to grow. Some, hilarious – others, badass, but the latest Resident Evil 2 mod comes at the perfect time with all the Witcher hype because it lets players take on the undead as The Witcher 3’s Ciri.

The Witcher 3 Resident Evil 2 mod comes from Wiwilz and it’s a pretty impressive reskin of Claire. For those looking to blend the world of witchers and zombies, Wiwilz does mention that in order to use this new mod, the ‘fluffyquack’ mod manager is required in order to install this creation while making sure it performs smoothly and without interruption.

Ready to take on Resident Evil 2 as Ciri? You can download the free mod on PC right here through Nexus Mods. As for the game itself, Resident Evil 2 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. For more about the horror remake:

“The genre-defining masterpiece Resident Evil 2 returns, completely rebuilt from the ground up for a deeper narrative experience. Using Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine, Resident Evil 2 offers a fresh take on the classic survival horror saga with breathtakingly realistic visuals, heart-poundingly immersive audio, a new over-the-shoulder camera, and modernized controls on top of gameplay modes from the original game.”
