The Destroy All Humans! remake is available now and players are already loving the updated alien adventure. While many are busy obliterating cows and doing the whole takeover thing, we here at Prima were given an opportunity to open up both collector’s editions to see how they stack up! There are two Destroy All Humans! remake collector’s editions to choose from: the Crypto-137 edition, that retails for $399 and comes with a TON of collectible items with the second edition being the DNA version, which comes with a different collectible but the same great digital content.

Personally, and this is because I am a massive collector, the Crypto version was my favorite. Though I, realistically, won’t get that much use out of the backpack, the figure itself is incredibly detailed, especially given that the team opted out of the usual polystone route regarding materials. The stress ball is also a hilarious touch, which was the perfect decision to make given the campiness of the game itself.
That being said, both editions are really incredibly made and with the DNA edition being so much cheaper, there’s no real loss when opting into that version as well unless you are a true die-hard fan looking for the best of the best.
