With Borderlands 3 talk in full-motion and Apex Legends continuing to prove that Respawn knows how to deliver a solid battle royale experience, it’s not that surprising that the two worlds would eventually collide thanks to fan creativity. One fan of both franchises decided to makeover the Borderlands intro with a decidingly more Apex Legends style and honestly? We’re here for it!

The original Borderlands intro can be seen in the video above for those that aren’t yet familiar, with the fan remake using Apex Legends characters seen below:

I made a borderlands intro with the apex legends characters from r/apexlegends

It wouldn’t be the Borderlands intro without the very notable themesong. Given that both titles have an infinity for explosions and Apex Legends’ latest character, Octane, absolutely bears a resemblance to that of a Borderlands psychopath, the blend of two franchises works out quite perfectly.

And we’re also sorry for the song now stuck in your head. Our bad.

As for the Borderlands franchise, fans can look forward to even more psychos in their future because Borderlands 3 is poised to release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on September 13 2019. We’re also going to be getting a sweet new gameplay trailer on May 1st, so stay tuned!
