7. New Game Plus Won’t Be Available at Launch

At launch, Zero Company will not have a New Game Plus feature; however, subsequent playthroughs will unlock certain customization options. They haven’t said if the feature will eventually make its way to the title, but they specifically said “at launch,” so it’s definitely possible it’ll be added in an update.

8. There Are No Romance Options or Multiple Endings

Despite its emphasis on squad relationships, Star Wars Zero Company won’t feature romance options or branching story paths. While squad composition can affect certain story moments and character Bonds, the overall narrative remains linear from beginning to end.

9. Story Missions Include Third-Person Exploration

Unlike many turn-based strategy games, some story missions in Star Wars Zero Company include third-person exploration before combat begins. These sections let players explore parts of the environment, gather Intel and Advantage Points, and gain a tactical edge before transitioning into turn-based battles.

10. You Can Customize Nearly Every Member of Zero Company

Zero Company offers extensive customization beyond its predefined heroes. Alongside story characters like Trick, Tel-Rea, and Cly, you can recruit fully custom Operators, changing their appearance, names, backstories, and equipment. Hawks is also highly customizable, letting you build a squad that reflects your preferred playstyle.

While plenty of details had already been revealed through gameplay trailers and previews, the latest Q&A fills in several gaps, especially when it comes to the campaign, customization, and progression systems. Star Wars Zero Company continues to look like a promising strategy game, and I’m looking forward to seeing how Bit Reactor’s take on the Star Wars universe comes together when it launches on August 27, 2026. You can pre-order it now and get a neat cosmetics set for your droids.
