50.) Mortal Kombat: Fight with Zombies, or Without Arms (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3)

Mortal Kombat features some sweet Kombat Kodes that change the cosmetic (Kosmetic?) appearance of your character or the fight entirely with a unique tactic. Our two favorites? Fighting with zombie characters and without arms. To fight with zombies, go to the Kombat Kode screen and enter 666 666 (six button presses per space). To battle opponents without your arms, enter 911 911 (9 button presses in first space, etc.) Get ready for some weird yet glorious fighting.

49.) Doom: Get the Chainsaw (PC)

There are plenty of great codes in the original Doom – many of which we’ll cover in this top 50. For this entry, we have the awesome code that gives you the chainsaw right off the bat. While playing, simply type in IDCHOPPERS. Get ready to carve through enemies like melted butter.

48.) NBA Jam: Unlock Political Players and Beastie Boys (Wii)

EA Sports’ NBA Jam reboot is one of the best arcade sports games you can play right now – but you don’t have to stick with NBA superstars. These codes will give you access to the Beastie Boys and…politicians? On the title screen, press left 13 times, then press + for Democrats or right 13 times and press + for Republicans. If you want the Beasties, enter up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B and +. Fight for your right to dunk!

47.) Grand Theft Auto 5: Get the Buzzard Attack Helicopter (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3)

One of the coolest vehicles in this GTA sequel has to be the Buzzard. To spawn one of these bad boys, go into a game and press Circle, Circle, L1, Circle, Circle, Circle, L1, L2, R1, Triangle, Circle and Triangle on PlayStation 3, and B, B, LB, B, B, B, LB, LT, RB, Y, B, Y on Xbox 360. Our video shows you how easily it’s done.

46.) Turok 2: Seeds of Evil: Unlock Everything (Nintendo 64)

We already tackled the original Turok earlier in our countdown, but now we’re moving on to the bigger and better Nintendo 64 sequel, with a code that will unlock everything right away. Enter BEWAREOBLIVIONISATHAND on the password screen, and you’ll be all set. Enjoy your huge weapon stash!

45.) Eternal Champions – Challenge From the Dark Side: Unlock the Senator (Sega CD)

If you’re an avid fan of the Eternal Champions series – and still have a Sega CD – then you’ll have no reason to turn down this Senator’s vote. To unlock this powerful politician, use a six-button Genesis controller and enter Right, C, C, left, Mode, B, Down, X, A, X, and Mode on the final statistics screen. Then be prepared to unleash your power to vote – to death!

44.) Super Star Wars: Debug Mode (SNES)

Super Star Wars is easily one of the best movie-to-game adaptations we’ve seen on the SNES, and now the Force can be with you through this awesome debug menu code. After starting the game, plug in a second controller and enter A, A, A, A, X, B, B, B, B, Y, X, X, X, X, A, Y, Y, Y, Y and B. Hold down L & R, and the debug menu should pop up. Who needs Jedi training?

43.) Street Fighter 2: Fight a Two-Player Match with the Same Character (SNES)

Up until the Championship Edition released, there was no way to play as the same character in the original Street Fighter 2 for SNES – or so we thought. Indeed, there is. On the Capcom logo screen, enter Down, R, Up, L, Y and B. You’ll need to enter it before it fades away. If done correctly, you’ll be able to pit Ryu vs. Ryu, Blanka vs. Blanka and so on. Fight!

42.) Duke Nukem 3D: Invincibility and a Jet Pack (PC)

Duke Nukem 3D has some great codes as well, and one of our favorites gives you two bonuses right away – God Mode and a jet pack to fly around with. Simply type in DNCORNHOLIO while you play, and you’ll unlock both to use however you please. Hail to the king, baby!

41.) Grand Theft Auto 5: Exploding Bullets (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3)

Lucky you – we’ve got two great GTA 5 cheat codes in today’s countdown. This one will give you glorious exploding bullets, which go a long way in creating chaos. During gameplay, enter Right, Square, X, Left, R1, R2, Left, Right, Right, L1, L1 and L1 on the PlayStation 3, and Right, X, A, Left, RB, RT, Left, Right, Right, LB, LB and LB on Xbox 360. Hope you like things going boom.
