“In light of recent reports regarding allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination at Activision, Blizzard, and Ubisoft, Prima Games is putting a hard pause on coverage of all Activision, Blizzard, and Ubisoft content until further notice.”
What this means is that all past coverage of properties from these companies published to the site prior to this statement being made, including our guides, will remain, but no new coverage will be written until these companies do more to enact meaningful change.
As an industry, we have to hold these companies to a higher standard, and doing this is only one small step. We were also by no means the first to make this statement, and we want to thank other outlets for taking the same stance including TheGamer, Switch Player Mag, Cinelinx, Lock-On, Ninty Fresh, and GameXplain.
We’re grateful to each and every site that sees the situation the same way, and for everything they and others are doing to take a stand. And finally, we appreciate all of our readers for the support they’ve shown us after we shared our decision on social media.
Thank you,
The Prima Team
