The Mortal Kombat 11 Afterman story DLC trailer has arrived and comes bringing the confirmation that RoboCop is ready to rock and roll! Who doesn’t want to pit RoboCop up against the Terminator and now you can with Mortal Kombat 11, and so far fans are loving the latest roster reveal!

The latest trailer confirmed the return of Friendships, new stages, a brand new narrative that picks right up where the base story left off, and the inclusion of RoboCop. While there have been rumors of his inclusion into the roster over the last 6 months, this is the first actual confirmation from NetherRealm itself about his arrival. Needless to say, that choice was a huge hit.

Just going to assume that Robocop’s friendship has him take off his visor and then you start hearing a woman whisper “Stryker, it’s you” over and over again.

There were a few voices intermingled in with the positive feedback asking why all the seemingly random additions while so many main characters remain on the sidelines, but honestly the excitement was far more prevalent and goes to show that Mortal Kombat can do whatever it what however it wants and it’s going to be big. This also gives fans of RoboCop and chance to have him go head-to-head with the Terminator, something we haven’t been able to do in quite a few generations of gaming.

In addition to RoboCop, Mortal Kombat 11 will bring back the fuzzy wuzzies of Friendships in addition to a new story that brings back Shang Tsung as he tries to stop Raiden from fixing the timeline that Kronika warped. The adventure is far from over but the next step arrives when Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath drops on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch on May 26th!
