Yes, Springdale is certainly a lovely town, full of (mostly) nice people, and just like any other normal place, Springdale is teeming with Yo-kai! These strange beings have infiltrated the streets, alleys, schools, parks, train stations…even the waterways and sewer system. They lurk in trees, under parked cars, behind vending machines. Some are playful and friendly, but others arrive with ill intent…and a few are downright wicked. (In fact, there’s a whole Yo-kai Tribe of nasty troublemakers called The Wicked!)

With all this daily mischief running amok, it’s up to you to figure out what exactly is going on!

Use your Yo-kai Watch to explore the town’s neighborhoods where you find, battle, and befriend these mischievous creatures. Investigate the massive edifice of the newly-built Excellent Tower in Springdale. Then travel to other amazing areas just a train ride away. Visit the sleepy seaside village of San Fantastico and the quiet country burg of Harrisville…where you can make a spectacular time jump sixty years into the past!

Here the shadowy trail of the Yo-kai leads in new directions and features spooky new factions: Fleshy Souls and Bony Spirits. Meet classic Yo-kai from ancient folklore and learn the origins of the Yo-kai Watch itself, gaining access to the fabled Model Zero upgrade that expands your abilities.
