In Tyranny, evil has already won and players must take on the role of the Fatebinder, a special upholder of the law who is tasked with bringing the remainder of the Tiers under Kyros’ control. This article will act as a hub for all of our Tyranny guide content, including side quest walkthroughs, character creation tips and more.
Tyranny Tips
- Use the SPACE BAR to pause the game at any point. This will allow you to strategize during combat, take a look around the area without having to worry about time passing in the game and more.
- Loot everything that you see. While you might not need the four Bronze Daggers you pick up off those dead Tiersmen, one thing is for sure, they sell for a pretty penny back at camp, or in one of the many shops around the game’s world. Don’t be afraid to loot as much as you can early on, as this will make earning gold exponentially easier.
- Think about your words carefully before choosing them. Dialogue and choice plays a vital part in the Tyranny story, so always make sure to mull over your options before blindly choosing a dialogue option just to progress the game. The things you say and do can and will affect the outcome of the story.
- Pay attention. There is a lot going on in the isometric world of tyranny, and if you want to see it all, you’re going to have to really pay attention. You never know when one of your party members might notice something worth investigating out of the corner of his or her eye.
- Learn the hotkeys. Hotkeys are a vital part of the RPG experience, and knowing which buttons do what will allow you to take part in combat more fluidly and confidently. Make sure you learn these hotkeys as early on as possible, as later parts of the game can become quite difficult.
