Titanfall 2 Tips

  • Titanfall 2 is fast and frenetic, so you won’t have time to take your thumb off the sticks to jump! If you don’t have a Scuf or an Xbox Elite controller, switch your button layout to Bumper Jumper.
  • You are faster while wall running and boost jumping, so avoid sprinting on the ground if you want to cover long distances quickly.
  • Take a knee for long distance gunfights. Not only will you be harder to hit, but crouching in Titanfall 2 also improves weapon accuracy.
  • Know when to aim down sights and when not to. As a general rule of thumb, you should always ADS an assault rifle when fighting at range, and always hip fire an SMG when fighting up close.
  • Unlike other mobile shooters, you can reload while sprinting and wall running.
  • Meleeing an enemy from behind is a one hit kill, and will switch the camera to third-person for a special execution, similar to Halo.
  • Removing Titan batteries are not only a great way to damage enemy Titans and heal your own, but they also fill up your Titan meter quickly. Help the Titans on your team with the new battery mechanic, and you’ll have a Titan of your own much quicker!
  • Enemies will be able to see your Jump Kit exhaust, even while cloaked. Double jumping while cloaked will blow your cover. The only way to remove Jump Kit exhaust is by using the Low Profile ability.
