Sea of Thieves Tips

  • The direction that the wind is blowing can easily be seen in the air above your ship. Try to keep your sails angled in that same direction to get the most momentum and speed for your ship.
  • Set aside different jobs for each of your crew members. This will help keep people from focusing on the same things and will make your ship run much smoother.
  • Choose a captain and stick with them. Find someone that knows how to sail the ship and steer it, and then let them stick at the wheel.
  • If you’re sailing on a Galleon and have four crew members, then leave someone behind to keep an eye out for enemy vessels on the horizon. This will keep people from sneaking up on you and stealing any booty that you might have aboard your ship.
