LawBreakers Guide – All Roles, Abilities, and PC Requirements

by Josh Hawkins

LawBreakers is a new fast-paced first-person shooter game from Boss Key Studios. Set within a futuristic world, players must battle through several different game modes on various maps. To become the best, players will need to master the art of moving between normal and zero-G areas, as well as master the different abilities and weapons offered for all eight of the game’s different roles. This LawBreakers guide will act as a hub for all of our game content, including role overviews, map strategies, and more.

LawBreakers Quick Tips

  • Learn each role, and embrace each of the ability lineups. Take things slow at first, until you get the hang of abilities and what they can do.
  • You can blind fire behind you using the Left Control button. This is useful for dealing damage to enemies pursuing you, as well as for getting around the map using certain characters.
  • Customize your character’s skin, decals, and weapon stickers through the Customize option in the main menu.
  • You can open up Stash Drops for new decals, skins, and even Creds—which can be used to purchase new stuff from the customize menu.
  • Stick together and work with your team. Use the game’s built-in VOIP to talk strategies and keep in the know when it comes to your teammates positions.
  • Go vertical. LawBreakers is all about breaking through the boundaries of gravity, so take advantage of the zero-g areas to increase your fighting capabilities and take your enemies down.
  • If you’re moving slow, you’re dead. Don’t just stand around. Keep moving constantly and make sure you stay on the run to keep your enemies guessing where you’re going to turn up next.
  • Use the Quick Match button to find all kinds of different match types, and keep practicing to become better and better.
  • Abilities can be used for different things. While the medic’s shield is great for staving off damage, it’s also useful for cutting off the enemy’s rear approach, which can mean the difference between death and scoring a point in modes like Blitzball.
