Family Guy is no stranger to video game licensing, as 2K Games released a game based on the hit Fox TV series a few years ago for Xbox and PlayStation. Now it looks like Peter Griffin and the gang could be making a second go-around for this generation.
According to a product listing from Amazon, a new game is coming from Activision later this year called Family Guy: Back To the Multiverse. The game is showing a September 25 release date attached, and is listed only for Xbox 360, though a PlayStation 3 release is also quite likely.
Little is known about the game at this point but with Activision on board it’s expected to be something that ties in with the show. Perhaps they’ll call upon Seth McFarlane, who produces the show and provides numerous voices, to contribute to the project.
With E3 just a few weeks away, Family Guy: Back To the Multiverse is bound to make a big showing at the event. Now it’s just a matter of seeing whether the game is good or not – or whether you’re actually going to have the chance to kill off Lois with Stewie. Keep those fingers crossed…
