Charmeleon Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

How to Evolve Charmeleon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Have you ever wondered why it goes orange > red > orange?

You may argue that parents cannot have their favorites, but companies are different. Charmander and his evolutions are clearly one of their most beloved creations. If a game has a new mechanic, it’s certain that Charizard will be used to promote it. And that’s not a wrong move by them as the first fire starter is still one of the most beloved and iconic Pokemon.

And this was the exact reason why Charizard was chosen to be the first opponent in the 7-star Tera Raids in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, giving players a shot at catching their favorite orange pseudo-dragon. And once you have it in your hands, you can start breeding to get even more of them until you get that beautiful shiny. But before that, you need to evolve Charmeleon.

Charmeleon will gain its wing and become a Charizard at Level 36. It is a standard level for starter Pokemon to reach their final stage and not hard at all to reach. I mean, if you have gotten a Charmeleon, you’re probably strong enough to take on a 7-star Tera Raid, so you must know how to level properly.

But if the process is still too repetitive for your liking or you’re still at the beginning of the game and got your lizard through trading, stick with the Let’s Go feature to let Charmeleon fight alone in the wild. Just keep an eye on its HP and it’ll get some quick experience in no time. It should be strong enough to take care of itself.

Rare Candies are another route you can take for giving it some quick levels. Those are usually saved for capping out a Pokemon’s level, but we get so many candies in Scarlet and Violet that there’s not much reason to keep holding so many of them.
