Marvel Midnight Suns Multiplayer

All Playable Marvel’s Midnight Suns Characters List

Another new age of heroes

The cast for Marvel’s Midnight Suns might look somewhat random initially, but it does have some logic behind it. The game takes huge inspiration from the Rise of the Midnight Sons saga started in Ghost Rider (Vol 3) #28, which is one of those stories from the “darker side of Marvel”, which has not been very well represented in most recent MCU movies.

But to make the game more approachable for newcomers, developers came up with a brand new story featuring the introduction of many characters who weren’t involved in the original events, as well as introducing a completely new, customizable character for players to feel more immersed in the game.

This resulted in an interesting roster of characters composed of both iconical heroes and some more obscure, least-known characters. Here’s the complete list of Midnight Suns’ playable characters.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns Full Character List

Base Game Characters

  • Blade
  • Captain America
  • Captain Marvel
  • Doctor Strange
  • Ghost Rider
  • Hunter (Original character)
  • Iron Man
  • Magik
  • Nico Minoru
  • Scarlet Witch
  • Spider-Man
  • Wolverine

DLC Characters

  • Deadpool
  • Morbius
  • Storm
  • Venom

Most of the big names from the franchise, such as Spider-Man and Wolverine, were more than expected to appear in the game, even though they haven’t been involved in the original events from the comics. From the initially available characters, only Blade and Ghost Rider (sadly not the Nicolas Cage version) were crucial to Rise of the Midnight Sons.

The female roster is also very interesting. While Hunter is a brand new character created solely for the game, we also have the presence of two characters from some least-known Marvel works: Magik from New Mutants (2020) and Nico Minoru from Marvel’s Runaways (2017). Captain Marvel and Scarlet Witch from the core MCU movies are also here.

The Season Pass will include four new characters, which will be gradually introduced to the game. Special attention is given to Morbius, who should appear differently from his recent movie. There’s also Deadpool, who wasn’t included in the base game because producers didn’t want the game to become a solo show for him. And we all know that this would definitely happen.
