The Pokemon Company looked upon the Paldea region and said, “Let there be bugs”. And the trainers saw the bugs, and it was good. Truly, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet don’t lack creative and adorable Bug-type Pokemon. But maybe the cutest among them is the minuscule Nymble. This cricket-inspired Pokemon isn’t just a Nymble in name. It’s capable of leaping up to thirty feet with a hidden set of legs that it keeps folded beneath itself. Here’s how to get Nymble in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
How to Get Nymble in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
For bug-loving trainers and Pokedex completionists everywhere who want to get their hands on Nymble, you’re in luck. It has a fairly high spawn rate, meaning that if you can find its favored biomes (grass and mountains) you can almost be assured that you’ll find it running along somewhere. The particular areas to search for this Pokemon is South Province (Area Three) and West Province (Area One).

In these locations, you’ll be able to find Nymble at any time of the day, in both Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. But if you find yourself walking through these areas without a Nymble in sight, it’s possible they’re there and you’re simply missing them.
Nymble is very small and thus easy to overlook, so you might need to zoom in with your right stick to see them. Otherwise, it’s easy to look right over them.
Can Nymble Be Shiny in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?
While Nymbles are normally a cricket colored black and grey, the shiny versions are far cuter, as it turns them into a pretty gold. So keep your eyes open.
