The game will be coming out on 31st May in the US, with a 3rd June release set for Europe.

Red Faction Armageddon continues on after the events of Red Faction: Guerilla and the upcoming Syfy movie translation Red Faction: Origins.

Our protagonist is Darius Mason, who accidentally wakes up a rather nasty race of aliens from under the surface of Mars.

The game has been made using the Geo-Mod 2.0 destruction engine, which allows massive reshaping of the world around you, not with a level editor or suchlike, but with huge guns.

There’s even the ability to repair the environment if you’re feeling in the mood to do some spring cleaning, as the Nano-Forge is able to build stuff back with its crazy space-age technology.
