How to Get Titania Weapons in FFXIV 6.2

Tumble down again, fa-la-la-la-la-la!

Final Fantasy XIV’s new 6.2 content patch released today and introduced a myriad of features ranging from dungeons, raids, private islands, and of course, tons and tons of new gear. Amongst the new assortment of shiny weapons is the Fae’s Crown set from the unforgettable first Trial fight of the Shadowbringers expansion – Titania, The Dancing Plague. Their appearance in the game comes as a surprise, as these new weapons were not specifically listed in the detailed patch notes for 6.2, and players are scrambling to gather the materials needed to craft their own whimsical weapons of war. If you’d like to add some fae-flaire to your arsenal, we’ve got you covered. Here’s how to get Titania weapons in FFXIV 6.2.

The most important and hardest to obtain ingredient necessary to craft Fae’s Crown weapons is the Dancing Wing, a rare material dropped by defeating Titania (Extreme). Though they can be purchased through the in-game market board, you’ll be spending a glittery Gil or two, as these are in high demand since the release of augmented Titania weapons. If you’re on a tight budget, you can grab a crew of fellow Warriors of Light and take on Titania yourself for a chance at the drop. Titania (Extreme) is a level 80 fight, and since most players are level 90 by now, farming for the Dancing Wing should be relatively quick and easy.

Once you’ve obtained a Dancing Wing, you’ll need several other valuable crafting materials to synthesize a Titania weapon. However, there are a few requirements you’ll have to meet on your Disciple of the Hand job to even attempt the craft:

  • Must be at least level 80 on the appropriate Disciple of the Hand
  • Must be a Specialist for the appropriate Disciple of the Hand
  • Must have Master Recipes VII (7) unlocked for the appropriate Disciple of the Hand

If you meet these requirements, you’re good to go! Gather up the following materials depending on which weapon you want to craft and make those sparkly dreams come true.
