Fortnite has become known for its over-the-top end-of-season events. These started years ago with a rocket-ship blasting a crack into a different dimension and have continued to evolve. With Chapter 3, Season 2 of Fortnite coming to an end, we look to figure out if it will have an end-of-season event.
Will Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Have an End-of-Season Event? – Answered
Last season, we did not have a major event to cap off the season, which happens from time to time, but according to some new data-mined information, it looks like Epic Games is gearing up for a big event this time around. According to Twitter user iFireMonkey, a known Fortnite data miner, you can see some of the information regarding the signs pointing to a new in-game event.
On top of this, the official Fortnite account tweeted a small teaser video with some dialogue. The end of the video shows the Mecha-bear icon from back in Chapter 1. This bear mech was constructed at the Power Plant in Chapter 1 Season 9 and capped off one of the most memorable in-game events in the battle royale’s history.
This tease of its return has fans absolutely ecstatic. At the end of its last appearance, we saw the Mech fly into space never to come back, until hopefully now.
The Season ends on Saturday, June 4, 2022, which means we won’t have to wait long to find out exactly what events are going down with the IO faction and this giant robot bear.
While there still is no official confirmation of a time and date for this end-of-season event, it’s pretty safe to say it’s happening and we will get even more information in the coming weeks. You can check out the official teaser from the Fortnite account below.
