Elden Ring is filled with places to explore, and Castle Morne is filled with items that players will want to get their hands on. It can also be tough to explore, filled with enemies intent on chopping our head off, and ending with a vicious boss fight.
In this guide, we will guide you to all the loot in Castle Morne and make sure that you don’t miss anything important while you are there.
Where to find Castle Morne
Castle Morne can be found at the southern edge of the Weeping Peninsula, an area below Limgrave. Just head south along the main road in Limgrave, and you will find it.
All Major Items in Castle Morne
Claymore
The Claymore is a classic Soulsborne weapon, and players can find the Elden Ring version here. Take the lift up to the castle proper, and you will see a large pile of bodies with a pyre on top. It has many enemies, so take them all out to be safe, then follow the wall to the right up the pile and around past the barricades. Here, you will discover the door to a room that contains a chest just inside the door on the left. Open it up to find the Claymore. You will need 16 Strength and 13 Dexterity for the Claymore, and it’s a solid option for Greatsword fans.
Steel Wire Torch
Continue through the room and down the stairs at the rear, then head outside. You will find three enemies. Take them all out, then climb the ladder on the left to get to the parapet above. Here you will see lots of enemies fighting each other, so use the confusion to take them all out. You will find the Steel Wire Torch down a walkway to the left. It’s a solid replacement for the standard torch and gives the Firebreathing skill, which can be helpful against big groups of slimes.
Stonesword Key
There is another ladder up to a new wall that you can take, then a break in the wall will let you drop down to a new area. Take out enemies as you walk down the parapet and when you reach the end, look over the wall to the right. Down here, you will find a Site of Grace. Drop down some more levels, and you will come to another roof with a wooden walkway and a body to one side. Drop down here to grab a Stonesword Key.
Twin Blade Talisman
Drop from the wooden ledge to the parapet below, then make your way to the end, killing all the enemies as you go. The large Misbegotten at the end is tough, so be careful. Climb the ladder to the left, and you will find a chest with the Twin Blade Talisman inside.
Whip
Go back down the ladder, then across the narrow stone bridge where you took out the slime. To the right side, look down, and you will see the roof of a new tower. Drop onto it, then to the ledge below, and make your way across the stone ledges to a new roof with a hole in it. You need to fall down the hole, but the room below is filled with rats, so be careful. Take them all out, then collect the whip from the corpse in the room.
The Grafted Blade Greatsword
Go out the door and to the left to find a Site of Grace, then follow the only remaining path to find Leonine Misbegotten. This can be a tough fight, but downing the boss will net you the Grafted Blade Greatsword, a solid weapon, and a Game of Thrones reference.
