Hello Kitty Announced as Day One Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania DLC

A trailer was released showing Hello Kitty in action, rolling around in this remake of the first three Super Monkey Ball games. Check it out below:

Hello Kitty joins a growing cameo roster, including the likes of Kazuma Kiryu, Beat, Sonic and Tails. Hello Kitty is coming out earlier, but the previous addition, Morgana from Persona 5, was announced as the first paid DLC character (coming November 2).

Both characters will cost $4.99 on all platforms, for those who want to get the DLC piecemeal. With this news, Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania has left the boundaries of Sega. Could we see more wacky guest characters from other brands in the future?

Who can say? We’ll keep you all informed.
