According to a new report from Kotaku, three classic Grand Theft Auto games are being remastered. The three games, GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas all live on the PlayStation 2. You can play these on your PS4, but they haven’t received graphical touch-ups or modernized controls since the initial releases.

The report states “ While Kotaku can’t confirm what all of those teased remastered titles specifically are, we can confirm via corroborating details from three sources that GTA remasters are currently in the final stages of development.”
The games reportedly are being remastered using Unreal Engine and will be a mix of old and new graphics. This comes alongside some quality of life improvements like an updated UI.
Kotaku goes on to say that the remasters are being handled by Rockstar Dundee, one of the newest studios at the company.
