A new trailer for Aliens: Fireteam Elite released today that shows off creepy locations, gameplay, fireteam customization, and more. In addition to getting people hyped up for the game’s release, the trailer also includes an August release date reveal at the end.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite Gets New Trailer, Release Date Confirmed
The latest trailer for Aliens: Fireteam Elite comes packed with content, though most notably the trailer shares the game’s official release date for the very first time.
According to the screen at the end of the new trailer, Aliens: Fireteam Elite will release on August 24 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC (wishlist on Steam).
Pre-orders for the game are also available now at a variety of different retailers like Amazon and Best Buy, with the base game selling for $39.99 (USD).
Included with the base game are four campaigns and customizable Colonial Marines. If you’re someone who splurges for better editions, there is a Deluxe Edition option for Aliens: Fireteam Elite priced at $69.99 (USD).
Included in the Deluxe Edition are the following items:
- Heirloom Standoff Shotgun
- Classic and Classic Elite Armor Kit Skins (10, two for each class)
- Classic Ballistic and Classic Headset Helmets
- Vintage Sulaco Cap Head Accessory
- Weapon Colors (Chrome Plated, Digital Urban, Desert, and Blue Camo)
- Weapon Decal (Caution Stripe)
- Emotes (Look Into My Eyes, Sloppy Salute)
- Challenge Cards (pack of nine random cards)
- 4X Additional Full DLC Bundles (to be released later)
In the event you decide splurging on a better edition isn’t for you on this one, it’s worth noting that everyone who pre-orders a copy of Aliens: Fireteam Elite will receive the Hardened Marine Pack with some fun cosmetic goodies like a Chestburster taunt emote and Digital Red Camo weapon color.
If you’re unfamiliar with the game, Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a third-person co-op survival shooter set in the Alien universe. In Aliens: Fireteam Elite, you and a fireteam (three people to a fireteam) will work to push back against 20+ enemies (11 different Xenomorphs) that all behave differently.
