Rainbow Six Extraction is a Co-Op Battle Against Aliens, Black Goo

So much Giger Goo

Originally and unfortunately titled Rainbow Six Quarantine, Ubisoft’s new title in its role-based military shooter is getting a bit more fantastical. While Rainbow Six Siege appears to be maintaining its competitive presence, Extraction is more of a Hollywood blast for you and your friends.

Rainbow Six Extraction is a Co-Op Battle Against Aliens, Black Goo

Rainbow Six Extraction is a one to three player co-op shooter that pits a team of Operators against strange, powerful and gooey alien invaders. There’s a lot of Aliens-style vibing going on, although the enemies themselves are more of the glowing, bipedal variety.

In addition to a reveal and deep dive gameplay walkthrough, Ubisoft already has a release date for us. Rainbow Six Extraction is scheduled to launch on September 16, 2021 for modern and last-gen platforms. Minus the Switch, including Google Stadia.
