During the E3 2021 Ubisoft Forward presentation, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla appeared with a surprising chunk of news. Not only will we see another expansion for the game soon following Wrath of the Druids, but the content will keep flowing through next year.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Sees Support Through Second Year
Wrath of the Druids just barely landed last month, but now we know the next Valhalla expansion is called The Siege of Paris. It’ll drop sometime in the summer, although a more specific date has not been announced. Footage shows a drastic new look for Eivor, signaling that heading over to Paris comes with all kinds of new goodies.
The Discovery Tour feature is also coming back, once again as a free update. Just as the previous two iterations, this will allow players to explore Valhalla’s viking landscape from a more historical perspective.
Also, beyond the stuff on the way, Ubisoft also announced that for the first time in the series, Valhalla will see a second year of content. No further details were provided, such as whether or not this will impact the series’ next game. Either way, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is not only Ubisoft’s most profitable entry in the series, but it’s looking like the biggest.
