As part of the Week 10 Challenges in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6, players are tasked with destroying three special sandcastles. When interacting with this Challenge in your list of Quests, two locations will pop up on the map.
Both of these locations contain three special sandcastles, so you’ll be able to cross this Week 10 Challenge off your list fairly quickly. To make things even easier, here’s a quick guide on how to destroy special sandcastles in Fortnite!
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 | How to Destroy Special Sandcastles
When the Week 10 Challenge that tasks you with destroying three special sandcastles pops up in Fortnite, you’re going to want to go into your Quests lists and interact with that task.
When you do, two locations will pop up on the map. Use these location markers to guide you to the right spot when you’re dropping out of the Battle Bus. For us, we chose the beach area to the right of Craggy Cliffs.
When you land at one of these locations, be sure to pick up any weapons or supplies you see laying around just in case you run into an enemy player. On the sandy beach area, look around for a sandcastle.
When you approach, you should see the option to destroy the sandcastle by interacting with it (E on PC). The other two sandcastles will be in close proximity to the one you’ve just destroyed. Look around, locate them, and destroy them.
Note that they’ll pop back up after a few seconds and will be marked in blue, helping you to keep track of which ones you’ve already destroyed. When they pop back up, ignore them and keep looking for the ones you haven’t destroyed yet.
Once you’ve destroyed your third and final special sandcastle, you should get a notification that you’ve earned 24,000 XP as a reward for completing one of Fortnite’s Week 10 Challenges.
After that, you’re all set to “jump” into other Week 10 Challenges, like the Legendary Quest that tracks the time you spend airborne using Hop Floppers and Shockwave Grenades!
