Deathloop Delayed To September 14

It’s been a tough year for everyone with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and shifting to working from home. Delays are par for the course in the industry even during the best of times. The full statement for the delay can be seen below.

“We’ve made the decision to delay the launch of Deathloop to September 14, 2021. We’re committed to quality and preserving the team’s health and safety for everyone at Arkane. We’ll be using this extra time to accomplish our goal;: create a fun, stylish, and mind-bending player experience.

We apologize for the extended wait and thank you for all of your passion and excitement. It is the fuel that powers our creativity and our hard work. We can’t wait to show you more Deathloop soon!”

This isn’t the first and most likely not the last delay we’ve seen in 2021. Video games are a tricky business, but we’re happy to see the staff take the health and safety of its team over the release of the game.

What do you think about the delay? Are you excited about Deathloop? Be sure to let us know on the official prima Games Twitter and Facebook pages.
